Over 15 years ago the house that was located on this lot was unfortunately lost in a fire. One of the challenges at 2 Harvard was developing a design that incorporated the beautifully executed landscaping features that had remained in place for all those years after the fire. Additional landscaping and native wetland flora were combined to create a unique natural feeling outside that both complemented and enhanced those features. Our belief has always been that the lot doesn’t have to be completely leveled for a new house to emerge; blending old with new is a challenge that we look forward to whenever we have the opportunity. The house itself was extremely intricate both inside and out sharing the same unique qualities as the landscaping. Again every detail was labored over until the house had that “Coughlin Shea” feel that we are all very proud of.
