Experience:

After studying Construction Management in college, Chris worked for several years at a large roofing company serving Boston’s Metro West. Following this Chris became an assistant to the superintendent of Smyrna Rebar, a union company that installed portions of the CA/Tunnel project in Boston. Having gained years of practical construction knowledge on one the world’s premier construction projects, Chris stuck out on his own starting a residential construction company that served the suburban Boston area.

In any project, large or small, a working knowledge of on-site personnel and the products being used is critical. Through years of hands on experience working in the construction industry, Chris realized the importance of on-site management and project scheduling, both of which are crucial in any successful venture. As business grew and projects became more complex, successful execution often relied on sub-contractors. The ability to become aligned with truly competent and skilled sub-contractors quickly became one of Chris’s strengths. Quality sub-contractors however demand two things: intelligent scheduling and the ability to expedite their work. Pushing his business forward fostered the need for Chris to excel in on-site management.

In 2000, while working with Mike Shea building a custom home in Concord, MA, a common problem facing many general contracting companies was realized: integrating business management. Combining their strengths in large scale management and on-site supervision, coupled with proper plan implementation and client / contractor relationship building, Chris and Mike have shared in many successful projects.
